Lightweight metal profiles made of Magnelis steel

Structures made of lightweight metal profiles coated with a protective Magnelis alloy offer exceptional resistance to corrosion and weather conditions. This solution ensures long-lasting reliability, low weight, and high adaptability in design. Metal profile structures are especially suitable for more demanding projects where strength, stability, and architectural freedom are key.

STRUCTURES

Hybrid construction

The combination of wooden KVH profiles and lightweight metal Magnelis profiles combines the advantages of both materials. The hybrid model is mainly used for smaller buildings, where the use of KVH profiles achieves a more competitive production cost, while the use of metal profile structures and substructures in exposed areas ensures resistance to water and moisture.
STRUCTURES

Wooden KVH profiles

Structures made of solid glued wood profiles (KVH) provide natural warmth, excellent static strength, and a high level of durability. Wooden profiles are environmentally friendly, energy-efficient, and allow for quick assembly. The use of KVH profiles is especially recommended for simpler buildings where a lower construction cost is key.

TECHNOLOGY

ZerroMax Technology:

The most advanced method of sustainable and circular construction with structures made of lightweight Besteel metal profiles, KVH profiles, and modular elements. ZerroMax was the first to develop a residential modular construction system with a central technical unit, based on structures made of lightweight metal profiles, which brings revolutionary changes to the way residential buildings are constructed. This is why we can proudly say that innovation is what sets us apart from the competition. We are faster, better quality, and more affordable. We manufacture the entire building in the factory, regardless of its size. At the installation site, we assemble the modules and perform the installation work, reducing the time from production to move-in by more than 50%.
Why ZerroMax

Why is this method so revolutionary?

Why is this method so revolutionary?
A turnkey house in 120 days, ready for move-in, has become a reality!

Extremely fast assembly time

Modular elements are precisely manufactured in the factory and ready for quick assembly at the construction site. This means that the time for completing the building with on-site craftsmanship is significantly reduced compared to traditional construction methods.

Manufacturing in the factory allows for precise quality control during the production of all elements. Mistakes are minimal, and the accuracy of execution is top-notch, ensuring a longer lifespan and greater reliability of the building.

Savings in time, materials, and labor directly impact the final project cost. Additionally, the optimized manufacturing process reduces waste and transportation costs, further lowering construction expenses.

The use of lightweight metal profiles and modular elements is environmentally friendly. Metal profiles are recyclable, and the modular design reduces waste at the construction site.

Main advantages of building with lightweight metal profiles

Resistant to weather conditions
  1. Can withstand extreme weather conditions such as heavy storms and winds.
  2. Very high earthquake resistance.
  3. Resistant to termites and other animals.
  4. Non-absorbent construction, resistant to water and moisture.
  1. Metal profiles have the best strength-to-weight ratio.
  2. Possibility of large structural spans.
  3. Suitable for large residential and industrial projects.
  1. Only 8.10 kg/m² of construction (wooden 35.62 kg/m², concrete 330.17 kg/m²).
  2. 30% lower foundation load compared to traditional methods.
  3. Lower weight – less internal energy in case of an earthquake.
  4. Very suitable for building extensions and construction on poor soil.
  5. Lower transportation costs.
  1. Assembly of steel profiles into steel frames in our own production.
  2. Digitalized and automated production process with millimeter precision.
  3. Controlled manufacturing conditions.
  4. No unforeseen delays (e.g., due to rain or frost), leading to significant time savings.
  5. No drying time.
  1. Savings on foundations and construction due to the lower weight of the structure.
  2. Lower costs due to factory manufacturing.
  3. Reduction of operational costs and fixed project costs.
  4. Faster return thanks to quicker project execution.
  1. More than 90% of the steel can be reused and recycled.
  2. Minimal energy consumption and waste generation during the production phase.
  3. Use of materials with a high content of recycled raw materials (42%).
  4. Easy disassembly, reuse, and recycling.
  5. Low raw material consumption.
  1. No limitations in design, both interior and exterior.
  2. Our designers and engineers fully customize the frames to the architectural design.
  3. The strength of the metal profiles allows for great adaptability.
  4. Suitable for both small and large complex projects.
  1. Lightweight metal profiles are produced in accordance with the strictest standards.
  2. The design of our cold-rolled steel profiles is based on Eurocode 3.
  3. The frames fully meet European fire resistance requirements (REI 120).
  4. They also meet thermal (EPB) and acoustic (WTCB) insulation requirements.
  1. Off-site production leads to minimal waste on the construction site.
  2. The dry construction method ensures a clean construction site.
  3. There is no need for water usage on the construction site.

ZeroMax and the reduction of global carbon emissions – decarbonization

The construction industry contributes 39% of global carbon emissions and consumes approximately 50% of the world's raw materials. In addition, construction activities cause: the destruction of natural habitats, the loss of biodiversity due to deforestation, land use changes, and soil erosion.

LCA Study Results

Results of LCA studies analyzing the environmental impacts of structures made from light metal profiles:

  1. LCA: 1.39 kg/CO2 per 1 kg of light metal profiles (or approximately 11.12 kg/CO2/m²).
  2. Environmental cost indicator: 0.15 €/kg for a lifespan of 100 years (1.17 €/m²).
  3. Our structures are made from ArcelorMittal Magnelis® steel, which includes the XCarb™ initiative to reduce carbon emissions.

Environmental cost comparison:

  1. Unprocessed skeletal structure – ECI 0.61 €/m².
  2. Light metal profiles – ECI 1.17 €/m².
  3. Cross-laminated timber – ECI 1.78 €/m².
  4. Traditional brick house – ECI 2.88 €/m².

From today until 2031, we can save nearly 60,000 tons of CO2 with Besteel light profile technology!
